Snehasparsam, a noble initiative by the Kadavumbhagom Charitable Trust, stands as a beacon of hope for the financially underprivileged, offering them a lifeline to access essential items such as food, clothing, and household necessities through the compassionate embrace of our Church, embodying the spirit of humanity and selfless giving.
Our therapy center ensures all needy children receive essential therapy, regardless of financial constraints. We aim to create a supportive, inclusive environment where every child thrives and reaches their full potential.” Blossom Valley offers scholarship program for all children and fees reduction for financially disadvantaged children to ensure they can asses each therapy sessions irrespective of money.
In collaboration with local Panchayath authorities, Kadavumbhagom Charitable Trust distributed essential food kits to the native people, reflecting its commitment to community welfare. The initiative, led by Fr. Kuriakose Kadavumbhagom and supported by Mr. James Mathew, showcased a harmonious partnership between the trust and the community.
Housing Projects providing shelter to the homeless, ensuring a basic human right is met. The Trust’s housing projects, realized through collaboration with corporate and implementation partners, have provided six houses for the needy and flood-affected in Pampady and Koottikal. The direct engagement with communities ensures successful implementation and a better understanding of their needs.In the spirit of transforming lives and creating sustainable solutions for the needy, Kadavumbhagom Charitable Trust proudly presents the successful completion of its sixth housing project, a testament to the organization’s commitment to community welfare.
Distribution of Educational Aids
As part of the charity initiative organized at the Blossom Valley Child Development Center, we distribute bags, books, umbrellas, dresses, and other miscellaneous things to the impoverished children. The program was inaugurated by the honorable Pampady police station CI Suvarna Kumar, and he gave the inauguration speech. Pampady panchayat president Dally Roy distributes the study materials to the children. Ward Member Sandhya Rajesh will also be part of the program.Director Fr. Kurikose Kadavumbhagom conveyed his gratitude to everyone for making this program a success..
As a part of the charity programme, The Blossom Valley child development center provides bags and essential accessories to the children who are in need, with the support of care and share international foundation. Through this, our center ensures that every child creates a positive and lasting impact on their lives and creates a bright future for them. The Housing Project of the Kadavumbhagom Charitable Trust remained one of the most impactful community initiatives during last 5 years. Many families in the region continue to live in unsafe, temporary, or partially damaged homes that put their safety and wellbeing at risk.
Through this programme, the Trust identifies deserving families through home visits and detailed socio-economic evaluations, ensuring that assistance reaches those in greatest need.
Support is provided in the form of constructing new houses, repairing partially damaged structures, or supplying essential building materials. Each project is closely monitored by the Trust to ensure quality, transparency, and timely completion.
For the beneficiary families, receiving a safe and stable home brings dignity, emotional security, and an improved foundation for their children’s education, health, and daily life.
During the last years, the Trust supported the completion of several houses, directly helping vulnerable families regain stability and hope. The Housing Project continues to reflect the Trust’s mission of serving the poor with compassion and creating lasting community transformation.
The Food Kit Distribution Programme of the Kadavumbhagom Charitable Trust provides essential nutritional support to economically vulnerable families who struggle to meet their daily food needs.
Many of the beneficiaries include elderly individuals, widows, single-parent households, and families facing financial strain due to illness or unemployment. Through this initiative, the Trust ensures that these families receive consistent and reliable access to essential grocery items.
Families are identified through home visits, parish referrals, and community networks. Each kit includes rice, pulses, oil, spices, and other essential items needed for daily sustenance. This support not only eases the financial burden on families but also ensures that children and adults receive adequate nutrition.
The Trust carries out the distribution with care, dignity, and transparency, making sure that assistance reaches those most in need. The Trust distributed 180–240 kits annually, supporting families. The programme continues to bring hope, stability, and relief to families who rely on this essential form of support.
The Educational Aid Distribution Programme of the Kadavumbhagom Charitable Trust supports students from economically challenged families by providing essential learning materials needed for their schooling. Many families in the community struggle to afford basic educational supplies, which can affect a child’s confidence and participation in school.
Through this initiative, the Trust ensures that children have the resources they need to learn, grow, and attend school with dignity. Beneficiaries are selected through referrals from schools, parish groups, and local community networks, followed by a verification process to assess financial need.
Each kit includes essential items such as school bags, notebooks, stationery, and other academic materials. This support not only relieves families of financial pressure but also empowers children to stay motivated and engaged in their studies.
The Trust provided educational aid to 40–60 children annually, distributing kits that helped students continue their education with confidence. The programme continues to uphold the Trust’s commitment to supporting children's academic journeys and enabling equal access to learning opportunities.
